Welcome to the Christian Campus House at Northwest Missouri State! For several years, college students at Northwest have found CCH to be their home away from home. We are here to support, guide, and challenge students as they find hope and life in Jesus Christ. We realize the critical time of life that you are in during college. Many of you will decide what career you’ll pursue, the person you will marry, and most importantly if you will decide to have a relationship with Jesus. We offer a safe, loving community where you can ask hard questions and are free to be yourself. There is no judgment here. All are welcome. Whether you have a faith life or you are just seeking and curious, we realize that we can’t do it alone. We need each other and we need community. Feel free to join us and become apart of ours.

Love God, Love Others, Serve the World

The Christian Campus House at Northwest Missouri State University exist to do the three things: Love God, Love Others, Serve the World.  We strive to show the love of Christ in our daily lives whether it be in the classroom, on the job, or in our free time with friends.  As believers, we are not meant to do life alone, especially in a the tough part of life that is college. We are here to offer a safe and loving community.  We meet every week at 7:04 PM every Tuesday night of the semester at 904 College Avenue, across from Lamkin Arena.  We cannot wait to get to know you!

Love God

We exist to Love God and to live his purpose for our lives.
Because God Cares About You
No matter what we’ve done or where we are on our journey, He loves us. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. (Mark 12:30)

Love Others

We exist to love and care for all the people around us.
Because God Loves People
Finding true life includes being at peace with others and sharing God’s love with them. Love your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:31)

Serve the World

We show our love for God and others through Christian service.
Because God Designed You to Serve
There is no greater happiness than knowing God and serving the world. A joyful heart is good medicine. (Proverbs 17:22)

Come Together

CCH @ NWMSU is a community of college students who seek to grow in their relationship with Christ by fostering an environment of intentional fellowship with others to share in Christ's love and a commitment to spreading His word through our actions.
We Are The Church

What We Believe

About God: We believe in one God that exists in three forms as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20) We believe in God the Father as the creator of all things visible and invisible. (Acts 17:24-28) We believe in Jesus Christ as God’s one and only Son and our one and only Savior. (1 John 4:9) We believe in the Holy Spirit as an active and operative part of the triune God. (John 16:5-15) We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells the life of every Christian. (1 Corinthians 3:16)

About God’s Guidance: We believe in the Bible as God’s holy word…without error from Genesis to Revelation. (2 Timothy 3:16) We believe the Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Hebrews 4:12)

About Us: We believe that each person has willfully sinned against God and is consequently lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23 and Acts 4:12) About Forgiveness in Jesus Christ: We believe that hope is only found in salvation…the forgiveness of sins and gift of new life…not by works, but only by God’s grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9 and 1 John 1:7) We believe that we can receive God’s grace and have assurance of salvation by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing his need for Christ and being immersed into Christ.

About How to Find Life in Jesus Christ: We believe that God’s word gives us the assurance that we can have hope in the grace of God and forgiveness of sins if we simply put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. How do we do that? Here are several scriptures from God’s word that will help to explain how to begin a relationship with Him: Realize that you have a sin problem. (Romans 3:20-24) Realize that you need God’s grace. (Ephesians 2:8-10, 2 Corinthians 5:14-21) Have Faith in God. (Romans 10:9-11; 17 and Hebrews 11:1-7) Believe in the person and message of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:16; Acts 16:30-31) Turn from your sin by Repenting and turning to God. (2 Corinthians 7:10 and 2 Peter 3:9) Confess your need for Jesus Christ. (Matthew 10:32-33) Submit to God’s grace through Baptism by immersion. (Romans 6:3-5; Acts 2:36-41; Acts 8:26-39; and Acts 22:16) Stay Committed and Take Action to grow your relationship with Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11-16, 29-32; and James 2:14-24

About Community: The Father, Son, and Spirit are all loving and giving and sharing with one another. Community is an invitation to participate in this Triune relationship, and to continually invite others into it. We acknowledge that we need each other, and that the life Jesus offers works only in connection with others. The most defining thing about us as members of Christ’s body should be the way that we love one another.

About Engaging Culture: We believe that the Kingdom of God is here and now. We strive to be able to recognize the kingdom as it breaks through and into this broken world. We want to participate with God in bringing his kingdom into all aspects of life and culture by naming and dispensing His grace, truth, and beauty as we love and serve those around us.
